Training Center & Production Studio

The SSF Surgical Training Center and Broadcast Studio offers a unique hands-on learning experience for your trainees using fresh frozen cadaveric specimens and state-of-the-art surgical equipment designed to simulate a real operating room experience.

Bioskill Lab

Simulated OR training center, equipped with 21 stations, state-of-the-art technology, sterilization room, locker rooms with showers, and cutting edge transmission capabilities.

Conference Rooms

SSF offers multiple meeting room spaces with live streaming 1,000 times faster than the standard Internet. Crystal-clear transmissions with little or no latency. Ability to record and broadcast 12 video streams simultaneously. Full editing suite to produce professional grade HD videos.

Library

The Library is appointed with comfortable furniture, fireplace, and large windows looking out to Washington’s beautiful Cascade mountain range, making it an ideal place to relax or do a little work. SSF’s signature high definition screens allow course participants to monitor events even from this location.

Filming

SSF was designed as a live broadcast studio embedded in a surgical suite. We have the ability to film live surgeries, produce product & patient education videos, surgical demonstration, and capture educational events with the latest broadcast technology.

 
 

Marketing

We provide several opportunities to add your own branding to any event held at SSF. Create your own customized video signage, posters, on-screen presentations, dedicated exhibit space and more.

We support non-SSF events as well with marketing campaigns, social media assets as well as video content.

Course Planning

We partner with a number of organizations to plan and execute their educational events. Collaborate with us to leverage our expertise and resources to ensure a successful event.

CME Accreditation

The Seattle Science Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 
 
 

Prior to entering the hands-on cadaver lab, attendees are able to see a surgical procedure performed live from the lab. Following the live broadcast, participants are able to walk across the hallway into the 21 station cadaver lab to practice what they have learned.
